Downloadable A&E's guide.

Post by Apeotheosis » Sat Jul 10, 2004 9:55 pm

Well - here's the thing, I have dial up so I can only go online for certain amounts of time, and I like to check the guides regularly instead of asking too many question AD. So is there anyway you could put a word file, or word perfect file or something as a dl from a host or something of the sort that we could open up offline. If not, it's all good, just a suggestion for all use dial-up users that are trying to climb up over this rock called line noise, lol. Late.

This, however, is the old version of the guides, as the file name indicates, from October 2002. It would be nice if there was a downloadable version of EADBAG, but it probably won't happen until the new guides are finalized.

Yeah I already know about the old guide Scintilla - I've used it quite often actually, and I know the new one is being beta tested. That's why I tried to get the word out now so before AD completely finalizes it would be nice to make it dlable in some form for a certain bunch.

But thanks for the link and imput Scintilla. :)

Ah, my apologies. I didn't realize you were referring to the beta version specifically. <^^

But like I said, I would also like to see a DL'able version of the new A/V guide at some point...

Get wget:

Code: Select all

wget -r -l 1 -k -p http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtechbeta/index.html
That'll grab some phpBB stuff and output of .org member scripts, but it'll get you the guide :)

There will be a downloadable version... but not until it's finished.

Thanks everyone for the help. I can wait for the new guide AD, as long as it'll be there. I appreciate the help for the slower modems :(
