i using premiere. I just suck at it. So since you were the one that thought I was using WMM, and also the one who posted about getting the text to fade in and out, I'm still at a loss for what to do there. (I got my white text on black background going). Just not sure how to make it fade in and out AND use transparency settings.

So you can get the transparancy? If you get the transparancy then you mess with the rubber bands and it stops working, I think I may have a solution.

Set up the text clip over whatever you want, and mess with the rubber bands. (if you need to know what rubberbands are read the bottom) After you have got your clip to fade how you want it, turn on the transparancies with what I said before.

Rubberbands can be visible by clicking on the arrow on the left end of the timeline where Video1 or Video2 is. If you have premeir Pro you have to activate it some where. Why did they hide it?
