It's not that hard to learn. Blender, like many other software packages, just needs to be used if you want to learn it.

It's not that hard to learn. Blender, like many other software packages, just needs to be used if you want to learn it.
it was almost 2 years ago i played around with it and couldn't figure it out. ofcourse it may have gotten easier to use since then. I also see there are guides out now. Might play with it again if i can find the time.

at that time, everyone agreed it was one of the hardest 3d programs to learn.

2.25 wasn't too hard to pick up, and 2.32 introduced a major UI overhaul.

Blender's pretty friendly nowadays.

I went ahead and checked out the link! But I was wondering, is it like a portal download, where... I download something from blender3d (blender 2.33a) and then it downloads something much bigger? why is it such a small download?

Because it's not bloated software?

Well, that, and it includes just the program and support files.
