Gundam dvd ??
i almost thought of putting this in general anime but it seems suitable here. ok i got the G Gundam dvds and i seem to have one problem. i cant get rid of the subtitles. i can get rid of some of them by turning them off but it doesnt do it for the opening title songs or episode title sequences. and is there an clean opening for the theme song on the dvds? i havent watched them all yet but so far nothing. i thought maybe Bandai would have them on there like they did for the Outlaw Star dvds. i really dont want to have to resort to cropping the subs my self.

sometimes subs are embedded into the video, and you wont get rid of them easily.
i have the same problem with dirty pair flash and shamanic princess. its where dub companies cant get a copy of the original, so they used a subbed opening (don't ask why, I have no idea of the ins and outs of production)
so unless you read the guides on how to mask subtitles, there isnt much you can do unfortunately

No, there is no clean G Gundam opening/closing on any of the DVDs, sadly (I have the whole series).

yah i found that out after i watched them all. but for some reason i was able to find a clean opening on kazaa which is weird. unless the there is a clean op/closing on the R2 dvds. the extras on these discs were worse then that of the DBZ dvds.Sousaphonist wrote:No, there is no clean G Gundam opening/closing on any of the DVDs, sadly (I have the whole series).
