well, not realy a rant. its just one of thoughs special anime where you easily find so much to hate about it, yet you still enjoy it. its wierd.

I'm sick of people dissing the series because there's no blood. "OMG no flying intestines or brains blown on the walls! It must the shittiest series evah!!!1"

/obligatory rant from the resident Noir fanboy

It was a decision forced by broadcast regulations, but I think the producers managed to turn that into an advantage and make the show even more stylish. I doubt I would have liked it as much as a bloodbath.

yeah, i agree with janzki. and considering how moody and dark alot of the setings for the fight scenes we're, it just didnt seem right

Well I think anime and soundtrack are great.
The fact that there is no blood is just a little bad because sometimes it ruins the atmosphere when , for example, kirika gets hurt on her arm and you see her clothes damaged but no wound, but that happens only at a few occasions. There is only one thing that I dont like and that is the story. The story itself is great but after watching the first 10 episodes I could gues how the story ends.

what annoyed me was the whole Cosa Nostra thing....La Cosa Nostra never helped form any mafia, it's the American Mafia...not some secret organization thats involved with Sicily (though they do work together) or that created anything =/ That kind of annoyed me throughout the show....cuz yeah....la cosa nostra didnt even exist that far back in time, it came about when an FBI guy named them (the american mafia) that due to Lucky Luciano calling the major famalies working together "Our thing" which, in italian, is La Cosa Nostra.

I'd defnetly consider it a rant thread, especailly since you took the time to make a thread about how you don't care about the main characters and despise the music. If you still enjoyed the series, that's wonderful, but it was a rant. Or, if not a rant, then still a very negative assesment, and still something I'd frown upon. ('Cause I don't like threads of that type)
