Taking away backgrounds!

Post by Ab-109 » Sat Jun 19, 2004 7:36 am

Me again lol (must be sick of me by now  )

I wanted to know if there was a way to like mask out the background in a clip so all your left with is a character or building etc.

I know you can do this by exporting the cip as pics then edited each pic then putting it together again as a vid but when you have somethin with more than 10frames or so it can it tedious.

If theres a simpler way I'd be really grateful.

Thanks :)

There isn't a simpler way. Unless you know After Effects pretty well but even then it doesnt get any easier.

I'm actually doing alot of Roto-scoping for my RVG Porject video as I speak.

well if the characters are moving then making out the backgrouns is the same proces as masking in the characters, so err, unless ya get creative with some filter, ya gona have a hard time doing it
