Please tell me how graphic it is
Akira had Tetsuo's guts fall out, his arm get blown off, a guy get mowed down by a SWAT team with M-16s, the previously mentioned guy blast a dog in front of a kid in a car, bikers getting their heads smashed in, a girl getting crushed by Tetsuo during his freak transformation, the freak transformation itself, Tetsuo splattering people with his powers.....
You have nothing to fear if you've seen Akira. If it were on par with something like Urotsukidoji (I still have yet to see it) then you may have an issue.

u forgot the graphic rape scene, the constant explosans and those creepy blue old kid ppl.

i also agree akira and hellsing are on almost the same level i might put akira a little above hellsing on the violence scale. but i enjoyed hellsing much more.
