i know there are better songs out there for this theme, but do you think i could relate this song to being drafted some how?

Okay the first section thingy could go with beeing drafted. The rest is like... Like someone dieing.

alright, that was Green Day - Hitchin' a ride. Not a bad song, but to being drafted.... i don't know, i might go look trough my collection to see if i can come up with something better.
But it's not bad, i'd go for that if you haven't got anything more fitting from the punk/punk-rock genre

De Heideroosjes - Do you Wanna die?
Rancid - Indestructable
Pennywise - Who's on your side?
Anti-Nowhere league - Military Man (or Chocolate Soldiers)

I personally think Do you wanna die is the best one of these.
I'm way to lazy to look up the lyrics for all of there, but send me an e-mail or something if you want more info

good songs by good bands. theres also the obvious "when you get drafted" by DK, but i chose this one.

srry, its hitchin a ride, by green day. i don listen to em on a regular basis, but im comited to the song n i gues thats it

No problem, if that song feels okay with you, go for it, the lyrics are quite good. Green Day isn't a bad band to work with, the songs are pretty staightforward and no difficult things with the instruments. and it has a good beat. Like to see how this works out, it would be a nice one i bet.
