Because so many people on the .org are better then me, I don't really mind whether or not I can beat them. I'm actually more interested in having them fail. Whether or not I succeed matters little. 8)

So yeah, dunno what that means. Just that I have weird ways of getting kicks for myself.

Dont let it sweat you, i get 2's, and 1's all the time. But when someone accually submits opinions, i get 8's and higher. People just give low grades with star scale cause they are sometimes too lazy to click the drop menu and select a number. Dont quit man, you'll get better, TRUST ME

it's probably been said but videos are made for FUN , it's fun to see that other pepole are enjoying them but don't make that your ambition.
also , looking back i had sort of 12-15 videos which was complete omlete crap , however i got better ( except for video quality --;)
train more , watch more amv's if you really want to become a better amv.
i can't belive someone will stay crappy forever.
and all the sucssesing videos ( like euphoria ) wrecked their frickin brain with frame by frame which took some time.
also you may get a lower score because of opnions not for a real reason , for example i give 1-5 stars based mostly on the action sync because i think it's the most important thing , which why i like espically videos like : alan's steel angel kurumi 2 DDR AMV , or fluxmister " enternal damanation " and " souls of rage and sorrow " but that might be just me and other person up there puts more points on video quality , orignalty , re view able and so on.
so you may get a low score not really for a good reason and youv'e just been judged by idiots ( which i think include me Oo)

Seriously though, making idiotic videos is what saves me from getting too stumped and bored by editing. It reminds me for once that editing can be fun[ny]. Although I probably said that before.

As far as star ratings, I found them pretty fair for my non-crap video, and very unfair for my crap videos (which get far more than they're supposed to - but eh, not that I complain!)

It's kind of weird - I used to really enjoy watching this particular amv I made a couple years ago (a real oldie/"noob" video) But a day after I put the vid up on the org, I recieved 3 not-so-nice opinions that held lectures on how I should be making amvs. Now, I really don't like to watch it anymore, and I know I shouldn't care, (since my other videos have recieved great opions,) But those words are always in the back of my mind - and it drives me insane.

People tell you not to care about what other people think, but sometimes, nasty opinions can really discourage you from wanting to show your amv other people. But maybe that's just me....I'm not a very tough person ^_^;;
