Yep Kai Stromler got it right about the demo. Course I wouldn't call anything about Metallica weenie.

Dave Mustain didn't last very long either.

I guess I just appreciate a lot of Metal from before my time. Back in the days when metal ruled the musical world.

Well nailz personally I've never had any problems with my fellow Metal friends. I was just trying to justify this giant pissing contest to save everyone a little face. And duh its us vs me. I'm the only one that did anything remotely objective.

Of course most of my Metal friends tend play music to include Metal. So they tend get what I say.

And don't talk to me about Dimmu Borgir. That is the kind of stuff that turns a lot of people off from Metal. It tends sterlizintg a population from growth and keep metal in the little corner of the store.

Half the damn titles for metal are from fans trying to distinguish themselves anyway.

As for the shit I'm getting. I don't care. Damn me and my musical knowledge and reason. I just keep posting to see if something new comes up and to piss off those that wish to insult without providing real knowledge.

If you absolutely can't define Metal or sub Metal genre without a band reference then your just making an opinion or popular statement. Grow a spine and learn something other than some BS MTV factoid.

you'll have to excuse me for never studying musical theory and never picking up an insturment. I should just carve out my ears. Clearly I'm not metal enough to listen to music. You'll also have to excuse me for being able to listen to a multitude of different bands and be able to classify them by genere. Not everyone can be as self arrogant as you, or we'd all be one collective George W. Bush concious.

And there's nothing wrong with Dimmu Borgir. I woudln't call them the greatest band on earth or your death metal l33t, but far be it for ME to contradict you and your all knowing metal knowladge. Funny, I always thought exposure to bands who border on the genere acted as a gateway. Wow, stupid me. But hey, Metallica was all over MTV too, I'd be more turned off to the genere after listening to the trash they've been putting out for 12 years moreso than anything Dimmu's done.

But then I'd probably rather listen to Britney Spears than a lot of the stuff Kai likes.

I just thought I would put musical knowledge out there for people. That way people don't have to depend on some MTV pop culture standard.
