Well, I've never seen that anime before, however I'd be happy to opinion your video. I'll set it to download now and you'll have your opinion by tomorrow morning. Here's the link to my video.

Chronicles of a Fantasy.
History is composed of choices and divergences. Each choice you make creates a new world and brings forth a new future. But at the same time, you're eliminating a different future with the choices you didn't make. A future that was destroyed even before it was born. This, is fate.

Your op is up. Cool video. I gave you a very detailed op, but I don't expect you to go into such detail for me.

One thing I'll point out is that your video's title is "Willster Productions." - You might want to rename it, but I think you might need Phade to do that for you. *shrug*

Anyway, good job.

Hey, anyone out there who's reading this, you might not wanna do an op exchange with Willster, and if you do, wait to op his vid until after he ops yours. I'm fairly certain he was just a tad unfair with my video due to the fact that I was brutally honest with his.

Whatever, I've learned from this little venture though. Ops don't matter much to me, but when someone's actually bitter enough to take constructive criticism and turn it into anger, it does make me lose a little more faith in the entire op exchange board... I mean, honestly, half the people on here I've never even chatted with before, so I have no idea what kind of person they are.

Whatever, he drug my videos score down by an entire point mark. As little as I care about the ops themselves, I did feel very happy that everyone up to this point had enjoyed the video and if they left an op, had given it high marks.. it made me feel like I'd done something right for a change. Then along comes Willster, he's never seen Fruits Basket before, so he obviously won't get the video too much at all, plus he thinks it's going to be some all-out action brawler video or something. He watches it, there's no fighting, he has no idea what's going on, and he's bitter about my op of his video... so he decides to try and piss me off or something. At least as far as I can tell, that's what was going on there.

So he drops me straight 7's accross the board. Even in Capture and Sound. How the hell can you give me a 7 in capture and sound when the video is straight off the DVD and the audio is straight off the CD? Even hardcore videophiles and audiophiles would be giving me a 8-10, mostly 9-10 score in those categories. There's not much video or audio loss, that's what those categories are about, there's no BS, there's no "how you felt" there, that's straight fact. An AMV with video that looks like DVD video should always get 9's and 10's in video. An AMV with CD quality audio should always get 9's and 10's in audio. It's that simple.

Lastly, he accused me of "overusing special effects", and calimed to be "old school", and didn't wanna do fancy new-age stuff like transitions and crossfades in his vid, so that's why when I said some of the cuts were "rough", I just didn't understand that.

Well, understand this, Willster. I tried to make my video flow, make it interesting, and make it fit the character that it was a profile of. Having not seen Fruits Basket, you surely wouldn't understand that, so oh well, there's no helping it. But the least you could have done is be honest.

Christ.

I agree. The clips used in this video were very good. Especially any clips that use the HuffyYuv codec. It makes the file size pretty massive, but it doesn't lose any detail. The audio in your video was just the samel. CD quality.

I've already op'd your video and one other, if oyu don't mind to op one or more of mine that would be great.
