whoo cares that anime kiked some serious ass i mean it has everything u want even 1 entierly serious episode but only 1 , yeah Excel and Hyatt make a great team and good ol emergency food supply Menchi the dog

Clearly, the point was to make an adaptation of Koshi Rikdo's manga that also parodied everything they could think of to parody in the anime world.

ok ok so maybe ur rite about the whole guy creator but when u were watching the anime did u ever think thats why he made it i mean cmon the man himself is in it and the director i think it had no purpose use common sence to the non understandableness peorson!

Is that a new word?! I think it is! non-understandableness! And it's the perfect word to describe your posts! But anyways, Koshi Rikdo being in the show himself was comedy genious. It worked out wonderfully . . . and if you don't think excel saga had common sense, you should see the parody fan-sub i'm doing of Fist of the North Star.

I seriously doubt that Koshi Rikdo, when he was originally writing the manga, had any idea that he would someday be a character in the anime that followed it. So of course that's not why he did it.
