Re: Petitions don't work
I doubt the petition itself had much to do with that. I also doubt that they would have seriously canceled Inu Yasha in the first place.Kadija wrote:I signed an Inuyasha petition to get new episodes put back on Cartoon Network, and thousands of others responded as weel, and now we have new episodes. I don't know whether it had any impact on whether or not the show was put back on, but they said based on the overwhelming number of Inuyasha fans that keep growing, they've put it back on.
As for a second season of Fruits Basket... regardless of whether they make one or not, the story continues in the manga, which is currently being released here. Go buy that. The third volume will be out in June, and from what I hear, it's still being released in Japan.

So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab
