...you know, when ppl just post titles of AMVs, i think it's generally accepted that all you have to do is type in the title of that AMV in this site's search fuction and u'll get immediate results... but lord forbid you actually navigate the site :?

btw, for ur treachery, i have not posted what video goes to what link  that is where ur journey will begin 8)
muahahaahahahahahaa!i!i!i!i!i!i!

Actually, I was assuming that you would simply click on the little Profile button with the musical note on it below my post. That's how you get to my AMV Profile, you know.

I'd say the thing most limiting about VirtualDub is that if you want to get a specific sync, you're more or less forced to cross your fingers and hope it lines up. I know 90% of my beat syncs are accidental (i.e. when Lee falls over during the drum roll on 1:17 of Merciless Lotus).

maybe they should

..makes sense, but links still help out when you've already got a big list to run through or if ur announcement is for a video in the middle of ur list, so a link would save people time... and that does make a difference to the majority of ppl... plus we're all lazy.. like when people just stop typing in the middle of a sente

Heck, I make all of my AMVs with VirtualDub.

I do this with a little help from my audio editing program CoolEdit, of course: I chop a song up into little pieces, and fit a clip to each piece. Alter the clips as necessary using filters, and then put them all together.

As for masochism, well, AVISynth isn't that bad for a programmer.
For that, we resort to actual programming =D
