This is just Jon lying again. Rich is still in Leash Law, and has not, at least according to the band that hasn't fired him, quit music completely. I haven't heard Leash Law, but if they're on Black Lotus, they must be at least semi-decent.nailz1000 wrote:Doesn't matter now, it would seem, if he's not going to be persuing drumming anymore.
Ofcourse, this is from Blab, which we all know is an absolute paragon of reliability.

Shin Hatsubai is a Premiere-free studio. Insomni-Ack is habitually worthless.

Perhaps he'll have time for the smaller projects. I don't know how TV works, but obviously, you can have time for a music career. Plenty of these fools have done it.. but due to Jons controlling additude, I wouldn't doubt if Christy just didn't want to deal with the 'TV or Iced Earth!' bullshit that I'm sure Jon would have (if he hadn't already) thrown at him.

I'm glad he's leaving IE. Sean's right, Christy is a shitload better than IE lets him be. The drumming with IE has always been pretty simple and, in my opinion, sub-par. If you're going to have drums like that, get a drummer who peaks at that level.
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

I think I see another Megadeth coming... All the drummer changes and such... Yeah...
Time to look for a new drummer and probably another 2-3 years before we see another album...
