why is case closed on AS?!

i heard that case closed (conan boy dective) is coming to adult swim why cant it be on normal cartoon network?it makes no sence

That's beyond FUNimation's control; they did try to keep the original name, but there was some copyright discripency with the American cartoon Conan the Barbarian. It's like that crappy case between Spike TV and Spike Lee; guess who won. :?

From what I heard, some of the cases from Detective Conan are pretty objectionable and somewhat violent (I think there was a rape murder case). A while ago, Fox Kids was thinking about premiering Detective Conan, but they found out the edits will be immense so they dropped it.

That didn't stop them from trying with Escaflowne. Didn't they do Cardcaptors as well?

Um, I hope you mean Conan the <i>Adventurer,</i> because <i>Conan the Barbarian</i> was the movie in which Arnold Schwarzenegger took on the Snake-Worshiping Cult of James Earl Jones. :)
