I originally started Aquiline Studios as just me, and the only reason Cyanna joined months later was that we already knew each other quite well IRL.

If you want to start your own, no one's stopping you. Just make up a name, enter it into the database, and run with it. Make a studio bumper. Make a website. Go crazy.

And most importantly, "have fun!! ^_^

Scintilla."

(sorry Lyrs, I am stealing your schtick for this post, sue me. :P )

I was in 2 groups...

One is almost closed down and the other is going strong.

I got into the first one by chance and started talking to the head person a lot, and I joined as member 6.

Then, Globocide started up (no more members being accepted) and now it's farlo, dethmajor, me and ifihadaninja.

We're just a bunch of violent spirits that love listening to music that's fast and heavy and watching uber violent anime. That seems like us in a nutshell.

Check out some of our vids and you'll see why.

Or do what some people do... Just go solo under no names and enjoy life that way (I do this in video games, it's fun watching people want me in their clans)

Goat Productions > Globocide
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

Mine's just the name of my website, so that I can associate the two. (I make things - not AMVs - under other names sometimes, but I use the same "production" name.)

If anyone were so sad as to collaborate with me on something, though, they could use the name if they were really dying to. In this case, though, it's just a way of associating the site with the username.

Mine, well, it's an obscure reference much like most of my references. It comes from Adam Warren's "Bubblegum Crisis: Grand Mal", where Sylia Stingray is referred to as a "rogue intellectual asset." The concept stuck with me.

It has nothing to do with death or ripping footage, really...

To paraphrase one Mr. Cool James, please refrain from referring to it as a revival, I've been lurking for ages.

I created Sakkaku Studios because it sounded catchy. My friend started getting into videos a little less than a year later so I let him join my studio. Now he moved to Sweden and has no time for AMVs anymore so my studio is back down to just me, although I have another freind who's starting to get into amvs that I will let join my studio is he wants.

Basically a studio name is better when you have a webpage. Sakkaku Studios just sounds better than Jason Tobin's Anime Music Videos.

JESUS! Um...I remember back in the days of the phorum, getting along with MJ and Adiamante real well. This was also back when RedPlague was a part of RVP (wonder who remembers him). Jon (Adiamante) and I talked a lot, becoming good friends when I was at UM, and he would ask me to beta test his new site (which is still the current RVP page), and I would report any errors, and help him with suggestions and stuff. One day, he said that he and MJ had talked, and wanted to ask if I'd join RVP. At first, I wasn't sure, because I liked the idea of being on my own, and trying to make myself known myself, not my association. But, I eventually caved in, because I really liked the guys, and the rest is history.

Well, Drngd Kreationz came from a spin off of my old DJ name (Dj Dranged) and that came from being the only DJ that spun primarily to trance in a pool of all Hip-Hop Dj's. I went over to one of their homes to record a CD with them and wound up making some weird mix to the vocal track a Notorious BIG to some tunnel trance and then working some Tool into a Gardner and Thomas Track later in the mix. The guys heard the Cd and all wound up going throwing things like "your insane" until the words "It's Deranged" came out and has stuck with me until this very day.

Well...you guys all have great stories. I'm sure it's fun to recollect how you founded your productions name :P And I'm sure some people are like...whoa...I would've never guessed.

I've decided on what to call my productions.....*drum roll*...

IYF productions ^_^ (IYF = In Your Face)

At least that's what I've decided so far. I'm still browsing though.
