If you haven't Submitted to ACEN's Contest yet **IMPORTANT**

Post by SailorDeath » Fri Apr 30, 2004 10:16 pm

Everyone, if you're planning on entering the music video contest, and you haven't uploaded your video, if you want to get in here is what you'll need to do:

Create an account/Log into the website and enter the video information.

Once all that's done and all you have to do is upload the entry, select Anime Central 2004 as the contest you want to enter the video in (DO THIS BEFORE YOU START UPLOADING TO ENSURE IT'S ENTERED!) after you do that, begin uploading immediately, people who create video entries, submit them to acen, and then fail to upload the video will not get to compete.
Gimme a minute, I'll make a cool one....

Julius, I PM'd you on the ACen forums, and am trying to contact you through ICQ. If you're available, please respond! It's urgent :\

Guess I'll just explain here. I have my video entry in the contest database, however, it says that the video needs to at least start uploading by Midnight. Is it going to be a big deal if I over shoot this by an hour or so? My video is rendering as I type this, and my computer is simply slow as hell (anyone who's played Gunbound with me knows this). So, once it's done rendering in Premiere, I've still got to convert to MPEG2, which is going to take a hell of a long time as well. So, I'm just hoping that if I start it at like 2 or 3am, I'm not going to get disqualified :\ Have mercy :(

oh wait, I didn't do it in that order. I uploaded the video first, then chose which con to enter it in. does this mean it might not have been entered?

I was finally able to get my video uploaded at around 8am >_< Damn long ass render times (including one render that failed at around 90% because my hard drive was full, so I had to redo it all :O). But I did enter the video entry to ACen before midnight, so I'm hoping that everything is fine and dandy. :o
