She was after all, trained in the craft and witch hunting during that time period and she makes explicit refernece to Father (whatever his name is) at that monestary having his "powers" decline. All in all, seems like a really interesting setup they have at this monestary. I guess the whole dual influence of christianity and the craft is just yet another thing that makes Robin unique among hunters.
Forgive me, for I have sinned: I don't know for sure that she is a nun. I got that from the English translation of Robimanga Daioh, which is probably not an authoritative source. I don't think Robin is (even though being raised in a monestary does seem to have had a strong influence on here though). Evidence of this can be found in one of the earlier episodes (I'm fiarly sure its ep. 4 but don't quote me on that, lol). Where after walking through a park to chruch in the morning, Robin meets a young girl painting nearby (who turns out to be a witch responsible for a few deaths in that park months earlier) who asks Robin (after Robin says she goes to church to pary in the morning) "oh, so you believe in God?" and Robin replies "Its [praying] more like a habit I guess". I don't think that's the kind of conviction a nun (or nun in tranning) is supposed to have and she certainly uses the craft--something which I doubt the chruch would OFFICIALLY (seems like they allowed her to be trained in that capacity to hunt witches though) approve of. The question of whether or not she actually believes in God does get answered later on to some extent, in the last episodes, since you can tell the whole debate over whether or not God has turned his back on Robin for various reasons disturbs her deeply.koronoru wrote: I don't know for sure that she is a nun.
