Martian Successor Nadesico series 2?

hey guys, i need a few questions cleared up coz im a little confused...(whats new... ~_~)

yeah so ne way... i was looking on the HMV web site to see what anime they've got and whats new.... and i happened to look at the Martian Successor Nadesico... now i have the complete Martian Successor Nadesico Tv Series... thats volume 1 to 6 and i have the movie Martian Successor Nadesico: Prince Of Darkness but thats beside the point....

and i entered Martian Successor Nadesico into the search bar and it brought up a list of Nadesico volume 1 to 6 in english... and then there was Volume 7 to 12 japanese dub'd?... is this a second serias or has HMV's web manger made a mistake?

either no one knows if this is a second series? or im being boycotted by the internationail community for war crimes against hamsters?

I would assume that those volumes 7 - 12 would be VHS tapes since they probably didn't have as many episodes in those as the DVDs.

There is only 26 episodes of the tv series and one movie. All of which have all been dubbed and released here in America. In Japan they usually dont add as many eps per dvd as we do so that might be what you saw.

That's actually true, In Japan, there are 12 DVDs not including the Movie, but they also have a few more features

Japanese anime DVDs also come out with less time between them.
