ok lets put it this when when you get over 200 eps of any anime it would be hard not to find some part of that anime to go with any part of your song

Sailor Moon is funny as hell.

And also, Evangelion didn't air regularly on American TV, far as I know, but they did show the first two episodes awhile back on Toonami, during their Big Robot week.

YAY SBS!!

Here in australia we have SBS wich aired all of Evangellion completly uncut and rated G.
Add to that, Sbs is a free to air network, that has also had on Bubble gun chrisis, akira etc.

I would advice against using Neon Gennesis, as its is becoming almost as cliched as DBZ (although not 5000 amvs strong cliched...yet)

But overall I would have to go with
kijima37564's advice, those songs suck.
