I don't get hate mails, but I often get hated on MSN or AIM. K, they add me to their Buddy List and I of course accept the chat, start normally about life, AMV's, sports or so...and what do I get? Swears and dirty words for no reason. Funny thing is...most of them don't know English and start swearing on other languages. To bad I know both Italian and Spanish
. Most of my "anti-fans" come from Italy and Spain and I don't foecking know for which reason
.
I must be a frekin' Harrison Ford then.

you should make a response video using all the footage that could be interpreted as gay and put it to I wish I were Queer So I could Get Chicks by Bloodhound Gang, Thne uses Ween's Homo Rainbow for the outro and dedicate it to all the "flamers". Atleast thats what I'd do. Should this go in the suggestions forum? (stupid jk)

"Yeah", "No", and "lol" are the 3 basic words to guarantee a conversation on the internet.bote wrote:I don't get hate mails, but I often get hated on MSN or AIM. If they start getting on to you, then start using variations like "Yes", "Nope", "hahaha".
Hopefully you'll never piss anyone off again. 8)

For over a year and from five hundred seperate people. Go "AMV community."

What I don't understand is why it's the really well known creators that get flamed. The irony is that they are well known because they make awesome videos like Mad World or Playground Love.

Love is Flowers - I submitted it to Otakon 2001 without marking a category, knowing I jumped through different genres intentionally. It got into Dramatic/Serious, won, and there was backlash, as it was also humorous. The final flame (flat out flame) email count tallied in at 596. The last one I received was Aug. 16, 2003.pen-pen2002 wrote:Which one?
Every now and again, I'll get an opinion on a new video that makes an off-handed remark regarding LiF. I guess people hold a grudge.
I can't wait to re-release it.

I think the idea was - OK, I hope the idea was - that cosplayers fight with each other and sling mud. Which they do. The cosplay scene is brutal. Fanboy all-zero reviewers look like kitty cats compared to a bitchy cosplayer in full-on mudslinging mode.Corran Productions wrote:I have no doubt some of them think we are more 'dorkish' than them.Sephiroth wrote:AMVs ain't got nothing on the hellish word of cosplaying. Now there's some vile stuff. I hope any pray that the AMV community never gets to that level.
It just depends on what side of the fence you are.
They scare me. Lots. I like cosplay and I sell costumes, but I generally won't touch the scene with a ten-foot pole.
