I saw a preview for Gate Keepers and I was wondering if its any good. Can someone tell me what its about, and if its worth renting/buying?
-Are children who act in rated 'R' movies allowed to see them?
-Do they have girl’s bathrooms in gay bars?

Yes, definetely worth watching. And I mean the TV series. I'm a little unsure of what to make Gatekeepers 21.
"Set in Japan, circa 1969, GATEKEEPERS finds unconventional guerilla tactics being used by an unknown group of soldiers, known only as the Invaders, who are apparently trying to slow Japan's recovery from WWII. Unfortunately, these guerillas seem to be impervious to traditional means of fighting, panicking many army and government officials. However, soon a new type of hero is discovered among the teenage population of Japan who call themselves the Gate Keepers. Endowed with the ability to open gates to other dimensions, these teenage heroes are Japan's only hope for defeating the guerilla menace."
Basically teenagers become part of a super secret organization dedicated to fighting an unknown alien force. Member's have special 'gate' powers that give them special abilities. If you ever liked the genre of a super secret paramilitary organization existing under a common looking school, you'll love this. Not only that, but Gonzo studios adds a lot of common anime cliches that anime fans will find hillarious.
I caution Gatekeepers 21, cause it's a complete 180 from the TV series. Basically because it was written by the writers for End of Evangelion.

"Have come to the conclusion that fandom is not a hobby at all but rather a combination non-competitive sport/full-contact tea party. Only, like, the Mad Hatter's tea party, and the Dormouse is totally hitting on the March Hare." - Ins
