playing video in reverse ?

Well, in Premiere, depending on the version, you right-click the clip you want in the Timeline, go to "Speed/Duration...", and either enter a negative value for "Speed" or check the box that says "Reverse".

Don't know about Vegas...

In vegas apply a velocity envelope and drag it down below 0% and it will go into reverse values.

sory ive still gota finish watching se : lain again for my next amv and im not touching vegas before im finished, so i thought i might as well do the lazy thing and let someone els tell me what to do instead of searching through that damn (but very helpful) help file
