What do you want to do with it?

Use it for speakers?

Look on the back of your TV for output ports...

does your tv have an audio out? my guess is not. so if you want, you'll have to open up your tv, look for the tv stereo.

once you have found it, you'll need to cut the wires, and than:

you can meld together the wires from your stereo to your tv
or
you can find a way to form an audio out for your stereo to connect.

you answered the question. also, you don't need to disable the tv audio unless you're using surround sound. tv audio don't work well with that (depending on brand).

however, if you do want to disable the tv sound, i'd recommend a good pair of scissors, unless you have an off switch.

You could if you have a "video in," and your comp is sending data by analog. If your computer isn't or can't send information over analog, than you'll need a converter to change the signals into analog.

A) You want to connect your pc to your stereo.
B) You want to watch movies on your tv.
C) You want the audio coming from your stereo.

a) Your computer should have an "audio out" on the backside of your pc case. You can connect that to your stereo system.
b) If your TV is taking the place of your monitor, you'll need a modified cord to plug into your TV from the PC. I have no clue what it's called.
c) Look at "a."
