XviD for DivX question.
Just a quick one for anyone more competent than myself - what's this trick I hear of that puts DivX headers on XviD files? And how is it done?

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Gee, I knew I shouldnt've skipped the part of the guide on encoding
Just when you think you know everything...

It sounds like a fairly lengthy process, but we'll see if the benefits are worth it.
I think most people have XviD these days, and I always use very basic compression so it tends not to create any problems; but I've had a reviewer tip me off on trying out something like this, so may as well try...

Hehe, yea...
My constant obstacle to 'good editing' is the "do I have to?" mentality.
This is why I always edited HuffYUV (because I wasn't sure how to import AVS to Premiere and Huffy worked just fine), didn't realize the magic of Rubberbands (because I never figured I needed what they offer), or did anything beyond a basic, 1-pass XviD or DivX or MPEG-4 export (because it still looked good).
Why is it that I must hate technology when it's clearly working for my own good?
