Installing New Codecs

I finally got around to downloading XviD 1.0... yeah, I'm a little slow. But anyway, is it best to uninstall the old version first, then install the new one? Or would it not matter either way.

You need to get rid of the old version. I tried installing the new version over the old one, and it caused mucho problemo.

where can I download this program? Because I keep having Codec Errors when I download... (like the last 10 videos I tried downloading) >.>;;;
