[the rest of this post is me being picky and anal and just killing time by posting here on what this topic is about since no one else has done it yet ]

perfect AMV in some regards might be considered something that has the perfect Anime with the perfect Song made into the perfect vision of perfection... heh heh

perfect anime: some anime that EVERYONE has seen AND understands enough to enjoy the video

perfect song: some song that EVERYONE has heard AND understands enough to enjoy the video

perfect editing style: a way to present the video where it is flawless in every aspect and angle that you come at it from... if it's too slow, it's not perfect... if it's too fast, it's not perfect
It can't be too well done, if it is, people will become haters and not like it cause it's a perfectionist video.. so some ppl would not like it... therefore it is not perfect

so yeah, you're right, you can't do it, but neither can I, and neither can anyone else that exists in the world, because not everyone has seen the same anime or heard the same music or had enough editing background to appreciate a good work without hating on it

btw, sounds like a good action video with enough character involvement to not suk.. go for it

and i think you mighta mispelled the artist's name.. unless it really is 3 gdays grace

where in my opinion Yattamight be the best amv.. or Idol-ology... or... Starman.... opinions differ majorly from person to person... *then again i hate that song and i havent seen that anime*

i know some people who like Crying Angeland some who like Atencion! and a few that like My December.. but their names will go unmentioned...

that's animated, kule, that series looks like a good run through if nothing else is on, i'm reading the manga in Shonen Jump monthly but that's all i know, didn't know it was anime too is all

but please use a different song, hmmmm, maybe the Tetris theme or the Pac-man theme better yet! using the scenes of the characters playing Go obviously so that it complements the song

I respectfully disagree. There are already hundreds or even thousands of Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, and Love Hina videos out there; these aren't bad shows but making one more video based on any of these will very unlikely make you stand out from the crowd. In other words, you'll be an "average Joe" in the AMV community.

Probably far more important than using a popular (and thus OVERused anime).. this makes it difficult for me since I have a distaste for the vast majority of "popular" songs out there..
