how to watch vids without downloading

Hi, this must be a stupid question but I'm new so I guess it's ok for me:

How can I watch a vidoe that I can not download? I mean when I search for vidoes I see alot that I wanna watch but when I look at the download column it says NO, so what to do?...?...?

Contact the creator and see if you can get one by other means. They'll probably have some ideas. Be it Instant message transfer or some kind of CDs in the mail deal.
Or you could track them down and beat them up for their CDs and hard drives. Even though most AMV creators aren't exactly all that tough, you probably aren't either. So I'd advise against it.

I guess I could do one of the above, but isn't the whole point of doing a video is that someone besides you will watch it (without anyone beating up someone else in the process) ?

Oftentimes these vids are old - they used to be around for download, but the creators got sick of them and decided to "retire" them. (I've done that, I don't distribute two of my old vids, and hardly ever distribute another.)

And the "point of doing a video" is different for everyone.

The org is for listing vids; downloading is technically just a perk.
