Is there a download manager that can work with downloads?

Like title is there any download manager that's able to work with the site downloads because i'vee tried a few but they download on internet explorer and not on the download manager. Could some1 tell me where u get one that works with the video downloads?

Opera (a browser that can replace IE) works for me. Some people have problems with it, but it works fine for me so you might want to give it a shot.

And Firefox is a good free alternative as well that allows file resuming.

Very cool i downloaded firefox and it works thanx man now all there is left to do is download :wink:

ok didn't realize until l8r thati don't really like firefox i need 1 that can i can maybe download half get offline and then go back online at some other time to finish it. Sooo lemme try opera

Well, if you're on dialup, you MUST stay online. If you disconnect, no download managed can finish it for you.

Umm, no. I can disconnect and reconnect days later and still be able to resume with Opera.

That what us dial-uppers and ex-dial-uppers did...

It took me a while to get Euphoria on my little 28.8k connection back in the summer... Now that I have cable, I just use whatever, but I still do prefer opera cause of file resuming. I am downloading Mandrake linux 9.2 (3 discs) and right now all them have been paused and resumed fine. GetRight is also good only if you're gonna use specific FTP servers or any HTML site.

Opera or Mozilla (widely used in my comp servicing class, I'm the only Opera user) > all!
