Does Ryoki even need glasses? He seems to wear them occasionlly then other times he's without them...the mysteries....

Maybe he wears contacts sometimes like Naru from Love Hina. You know how she sometimes wears her glasses and then contacts. Maybe Ryoki does the same thing.

Naw, it's just... personality-wise, I can't relate to him too well. I suspect he'll get nicer as the series goes on; but even starting out, he does seem to be a bit of a mean-ass.

Or maybe I'm just projecting myself on everything too much ~_~ In any case, even in the first chapter, he did a few things I consider way too damn mean.

But I suppose everyone's supposed to have a character flaw

Oh come on, he could be a lot worse - he's a dominant, yes, but he's not abusive or sadistic. He's not trying to hurt or destroy the girl, just order her around. I'm certainly not saying he's nice, but he could have gotten worse instead of better.
