I could see a Maison Ikkoku video done from the perspective of after they've chased each other for a few years but before they actually get together. A minimum wage persistant loser unsure of his current love status but looks back on the good times fits rather well with the lyrics.

It sounds a little melancholy, so it reminds me mostly of Saishu Heiki Kanojo.
