As for people on the forum... ya know generalizations really help. I love statistics too. Nothing like 65% of white males will smoke crack and move into a trailer park... I am waiting for my ticket # to be called.

I prefer fighting people head-on as opposed to just "n00b's suck," especially since I don't even know how to classify a newbie really... I just don't care. I won't help a jerk... and I won't ask dumb questions. (maybe...)

If someone asks for my help I am usually very willing as I know that most people appreciate any help they can get. Basically... do unto others...

If a newbie asks a question that isn't something that can easily be answered by simply reading the guides or lurking and thumbing through the last few pages of forum posts, I'll do my best to answer it.

But if someone comes in and asks, with their very first post, how to make an AMV, where to get hosting, how to upload their video to a-m-v.org, etc.... I will snipe at them. What they've just done reeks of ignorance and lack of preparation.

I liken it to the firm, loud "No!" you give to a puppy who's about to gnaw on your table leg.
