Ok JHU Battousai, explain this live-action thing you mentioned in the Anime Trivia thread.

Live action anime seems to be proliferating....what I want to hear about is the alledged live action Hana Yori Dango, but Tokyo Babylon is interesting to hear about too.

I don't know much about it myself, only that it exists, and is set in 1999, in an alternate timeline from X.

The video was released in 1993, but I can't find a copy anywhere. There's a picture of the cover here, on CLAMP's official page.

if any has seen the live action is it alright cause i know most anime to live action sucks. of course i haven't seen Tokyo Babylon at all. so is it worth seening? i do like X and other clamp titles.

Well Tokyo Babylon (anime) is in no way *besides obvious character relations* like X. It's much more light hearted and focuses on Subaru when he's younger and different cases he solves.

I am very intrigued by the manga however...it's on my to buy list...along with about ooo 10 other titles

well it sounds interseting so maybe i'll check it out someday soon. most likely when i have a cash flow.
