Ok, picture Winamp 2 ! You know how when you play a song... there is a box on the top right that has bars going up and down to the beat! Does anyone happen to know the technical term for that?

The bars are the spectrum analyzer. The waveform analyzer (or oscilloscope) is the wavy-looking one.

well... when I searched under wave analyzer and oscilloscope it comes up with the horizontal lines... Haven't tried the spectrum analyzer yet

BTW This screencap was taken from Winamp v5.02 which can do everything v2.91 can do and more. Hell, you can use all of your old skins and plugins from version two if you want. The only thing from v2.91 that I haven't been able to do is generate an html playlist. The options in the image below are accessible in v2 also.
