I own ZOE 2, and I must say, that it's the best mecha game I've played. And I've played quite a few (I even own one of the numbered special edition releases of Macross M3 for the japanese dreamcast. That game rocks). Anyway, ZOE 2 is definately longer than the first one, at least the first time you play through it. the second time around you can have every weapon powerup and stuff and then it takes about 2 hours to go through the game. Anyways, it's definately worth playing. The graphics are incredible (and even have a tad bit of cell-shading to make it look more "anime" like), the controls are near-perfection, and well, it's just really enjoyable. And it's a definate improvement over the first ZOE in just about everyway (the only thing that I thought was done better in ZOE 1 was the versus mode). And overall, it definately plays like alot of what happens in some of the mecha shows. So, I hope this helps. If anyone has any other questions about the games, I can probably answer them.

YEAH CUZ I DIDNT SAY THEY WERE SHORT AT ALLDarksyde wrote:I can tell you this, both games are good but very short. The combined time to beat both games is not more than 15 hours, and that's if you are an average gamer.
So this is my advice, rent both games because as I have said, they are short, and I don't think you need to beat them a second time.

I loved them both and have no regrets buying them. They both have good graphics, opening theme songs, and music that sounds techno. They're short and sweet. Not all games need to be 60 hour long RPGs to be good. Although I'll admit that the one kind of attack gets boring, but the 2nd Runner made up for it.
As for the anime, I'll get that sooner or later.
