japanese art books

Post by sunandshadow » Mon Feb 02, 2004 2:25 pm

Anybody here know japanese? I'm trying to find out if there are any japanese art books that are collections of bishounen and/or bisienen by various artists, and if there was such a book, how would I go about ordering it?

Well could you use your knowlegde to do a search on amazon.jp for 'art book' (however that translates into japanese) and bishounen?

If you're looking for authentic japanese art books there's a good chance your anime store has them. But unless you know someone who can read kanji I doubt you'll be able to translate them. Just do what I do and admire the pretty pictures.

Tallon - No, there isn't one of those bookstores in virginia, as far as I can tell. I found their online store but it's all in Japanese. :(

ryuu - No, I looked at the anime stores around here and they don't have anything like what I want. And yes, I plan to just look at the pretty pictures. ^_~

In that case, check eBay - search under whatever anime you're interested in. They usually have art books, but sometimes the bidding gets expensive. It's worth a try though.
