Vampire Hunter D

Post by LightningCountX » Sat Jan 24, 2004 9:53 pm

Well, after seeing numerous amv's featuring this anime, i want to buy it. But i check online, and it seems that Vampire Hunter D is 2 movies, and not a series...is this correct? Is there a series? Post whatever info you have on this anime here. Thanks :D

it is not a series. it is infact 2 movies. the first one being Vampire Hunter D and the second one is Vampire Hunter D: Blood lust. the first one was made in the 80's the animation sorta sux and the story is lacking but its an ok anime sorta funny in parts. the second one was made recently and the animation is amazing the story is also very good. but u should see the first one becouse it introduces D better to u.

I wouldn't say the original's animation sucked... but then again, I'd preffer to play Final Fantasy (I) or Bubble Bobble rather than Final Fantasy X or Splinter Cell.

I laughed my ass off when watching Vampire Hunter D. Especially that count, a Leslie Nielsen look-alike  . Bloodlust really has great looks and it's much better and entertaining than the 1. one. But both storylines are too simple, but then again, it's a classic vampire tale (in a way)...

BloodLust restored my faith in anime.

'Nuff said.
