DTJB, Grama hides in the closet? Man, I'm not familar with that one. The one I know is the Wolf eats both Red Ridding Hood and Grandma and a woodcutter (in the form of Dues Ex) basicly enters the house (for no real reason) and kills the wolf opening the stomach and saving both Grandma and Red Ridding Hood.

So I got to ask, the wolf can't find an 80 year old woman hiding in a closet? Why didn't see just hide in a window or a oven or something, no wait can't go in a oven wrong Grimm tale.

It's not like a wolf has opposable thumbs to open a door. A raptor could do it if they were the handle type doors... damn those Jurassic Park designers, why no knobs!?

Yes, but I got to figure a wolf wouldn't need oposable thumbs when he could just claws the closet to distruction. What that you say "wouldn't Ridding Hood notice". Well she can't tell the difference between a wolf and her own grandmother, I doubt she be able to notice something as small as minor destruction inside the home.

Oh, one other thing about the Ridding Hood story in Jin Roh. At the beginning the girl is if I remember locked up and then after 5 years released. What is that about? Was that something they did in the old days or something?

I missed the german stuff in Jin Roh. ??? Whatever. Anyways, the REAL story behind "Little Red Riding Hood" has been described by psychiatrists as one of those "The Evil of sex" stories. Where lust (men) are wolves, and the red hood symbolizing the maidenhead, etc, etc.

Whatever. a similar analogy could be applied to Jin-Roh, where the wolves are the secret society, and the girl gets swallowed up by the corruption... whatever.

Some people tend to put there own creative spin on the story. Either the wolf eats grandma and the little girl only to have a woodsman open up his stomach, or the wolf finds grandma in her bed and threatens her that if she doesn't hide in her closet and keep quiet, then he's going to eat her up. The second option is even more G rated, eliminating the aspect of violence. It can be even more G rated if the woodsman just chases the wolf away.
