VCA Category Suggestion a complete Waste?

Just explaining the reasoning.

Excellence in Simplicity was one of my suggested categories - I would have really liked that one to have gone through but you can't have everything.

They aren't allowed on the donut but they can still be catalouged and voted on.

Thats what we thought about live action vids too

Hell, my AMV of the year was going to a live action vid (Kuso's Punch Drunk Love vid), as well as several instrumental nominations, but I suppose since the title of the site is AMV dot org, flexibility is not an option

But oh well, the VCA's are still in the learning phase. I just wish we weren't getting prizes for it. It just feels cheap to me.

Anyway, I didn't even make a listing for that video. To me, that video has nothing to do with the site, and thus, has no place to be listed in the catalog.
