language being a non issue? yea, it's not an issue, just as long as i can watch it in japanese with english subtitles, i'm happy.

he he he ... and it's a great figure too ... atleast on this one the sword was packaged in a way that would make it impossible to warp the sword ... unlike the black escaflowne's sword ... which looks like one of those middle east daggars for how curvy it is.

Well, i dont like to spend too much on anime because i dont have a job and i only get a certain amount of money a month. The most i've paid for an anime series would have to be Neon Genesis Evangelion which included all the episodes and the movies death and rebirth, and End of Evagelion.... that cost me something like $50.00. I buy most of my stuff off ebay, well at least the 3 series i have right now... :)

Thats defenatly the best thing about shopping at Anime Stores .. just Walking around. 8)

I can't do that at my anime store...it's rather small, and I'm usually the only person there, so I feel...awkward. I've been known to prowl the anime section at Best Buy for extended periods of time, though, and there's an anime fan at the Spec's near my dad's house who I talk to while I'm there looking for stuff.

But Spec's is rather expensive, alas.

$40 for one volume. Unless it's a good bootleg volume that has 7-10 episodes on it.

If it's really worth it, I'll pay what it costs, but I know I shouldn't, since prices are high.

Don't disturb me now, I can see the answers

U should start up a conversation with the anime workers, im sure u will have great conversations about anime and stuff. Then they will feel more comfortable with u looking around the store for hours at a time. Make friends with the anime workers and u never kno wat might happen. Thats wat i do and they will eventually become ur good anime friend and u can ask them any question and u will get a good answer because they kno their anime stuff .. :)

 ... yeah tell me about it, anime is one of those things that can be talked about for a really long time. But that time talking about it is time well spent ... :)

Hmm...true.

Total off-topic but I've been dying to mention it: Anime Sensei II wore an Inuyasha t-shirt under her sweater instead of our uniform shirt to school the other day, and she wasn't caught!!! Dammit...how come every time I do something wrong I get busted?

I gotta get to the anime store again soon...I want to add some pins to my collection. Last time I went I bought over $15 worth of pins. :D
