Vertical Horizon: Go

Post by Lone Wolf » Fri Jan 09, 2004 12:09 am

This CD just came out recently. I got it used (really only a small crack in the case) for only $6!

As to the music itself...well, it's awesome! What can I say? I'm a sap for emo-rock.

I read somewhere that Vertical Horizon is related to Fuel in some way, but I forgot how. They both do absolutely great emo-rock songs. Fuel also happens to be one of my favorite bands ever.

I did crew and security work one time for them. Sister Hazel was the opening band and at the end of the entire show, VH and SH did one of SH popular songs together.

emotional...

I'm not saying that both bands are completely emo-rock. Fuel is definately not. I'm just saying that the songs that ARE emo-rock, like Fuel - Hemorrhage (In My Hands), Bad Day, and Innocent, are really good.

(Surprisingly enough, those are 3 of my 7 or so favorite Fuel songs.)

Moderately depressing radio rock, often indie.
