ya know, once you get yourself a burner and start actualy archiving most of your stuff on cd's, ya sudenly free up a shitload of hard disk space. ohand, delete alot of taht stuff that you leave on your hd simply because "erm.i might need it later sometimes, you know, so il just keep it here" then you never end up using it again. oh and, copy any cd images to a cd. ive saved aproximately um........................ almost 40 gigs doing that on a 60 gig disk.

Yar Yar, but I've taken up the stance to not waste money on CDRs also our burner is shit...

So I just delete the least important things first... and then go from there...

Why spend money on CDs when you can get DVDs?

I can burn a 2.4x DVD+R in my A06 burner in rougly a half hour. It archives 4.7GB off (really like 4.34GB)

That's like 6 CD-Rs. For every 100 CD spindle of CDs, it's rougly 17 DVDs.
