I ment to say 'Emersion' actually, it's an antonym to 'immersion'. Immersion you go in, Emersion you come back out. A bit of a reversial, while you hear about language immersion schooling, these kids are emerging from their own culture. It was supposed to sound clever. ;_;

I was going to do Skiing during Golden week, but I'm not sure if Golden week is to late in the summer.

Well, maybe it's time for someting more constructive.
On the subject of Hot Springs though, whether they're in there or not, I still think it's an interesting issue beyond the underage nudity aspect. Such as, what about all those cases where foreigners have been barred from using the onsen, because their behaviour apparently offended the Japanese? Eh? There's an actual Japanese-culture-for-foreigners-101 issue for you
