Racing Anime

hey,

My suite mate is kinda starting to get into anime. He is looking for some racing anime with a lot of cars. I was woundering if i could get any suggestions other than speed racer and initial d??

I read the title of the thread, and thaught. 'LOL I'll suggest 'Speed Racer' it'll be funny! Ha ha ha ha!'. But he was prepaired for it!

Two titles that come immediately to mind are Ex-Driver, Cyber Formula Future GXP.

OK i've looked up some racing anime and i've come up with there. Be aware though that i havent seen any of them. So here is the list i came up with:

- The Racing Brothers, Lets & Go
- And all the ones that have already been posted

...

well there is Initial D as well. although i've never seen it.

Initial D is a definate. You must watch it! Any car fan will love this anime....if you an stomach the fish lip animation.

Make him watch "Gun Smith Cats". The fact the production crew studied and test-drove an actual '67 Shelby GT 500 for the animation is quite impressive. That, and the wonderful stockpile of weaponry Ralley Vincent has in her basement (especially that M-249 SAW).
