Well, I'm using version 5 (yes, version 5 is out) but its the same in all the versions if you have the right (usually included) plugins.

Go Options -> Preferences (or the equivalent menu option), find the one that reads "Output", and double click the "Disk Writer Plugin". Then click "Configure", and choose "Force WAV file", and specify a location you want the uncompressed file to go to.

And for christs sake, make sure you only have 1 file in the playlist and it isnt on repeat. Otherwise your hard drive will fill up VERY quickly with uncompressed WAV files, lol. Because this method is very fast and effective.

Version 5 is pretty nice. Just like 2.91 but with more options yet it can be completely different based on the options and the version 5 skins you use.
