Do the Slow Down Shimmer
Ok, i'm sure many people have had this problem. You want to slow down some footage, but then you get this wierd thing you never noticed at full speed. This shimmering on lines on your footage. Anyone have a good way to combat this problem on footage. The DVD in quesiton in the perfect blue DVD, which is pretty bad to begin with. I can clean it up ok, but i still can't get rid of this small movement when i slowed things down. I tried the std permire 6.0 way of just altering the speed. I tried the avisynth 2.5 way and used dgbob to double the framerate after i deinterlaced it and i still get the same problem. I tried usign the dub filter thinking i could fool it into thinking they are the same frames. Is there a solution that people have used to try to stop this shimmering effect? I've been trying to do all sorts of thigns to solve this but many times someone will think of something that i didn't. I am allreday using temporal filters, i think two of them, in my cleaning, but i can't seem to get rid of this. Anyone have a idea?
