Post by Beebee-chan » Tue Dec 30, 2003 12:16 am

Excuse me, but i was wondering if anyone knew a method or software i could use to extract audio from a xvid or avi movie file preferebly in mp3 formatl, in my case i am trying to extract the opening song from the melty blood opening movie. I downloaded the movie off the internet and am trying to find a means of getting the song on mp3 since i have searched high and low for the song, please... if anyone could please help, do so.

File|Save WAV... this will save the audio into whatever format the original audio stream is in. So if you have a DivX/MP3 AVI file, it will save the audio as a .mp3 stream.

You can convert it to uncompressed WAV(if you want to edit it, I'd do this). Goto the audio menu, hit Full Processing Mode and then goto Audio again and hit Compression. Make sure it's on Uncompressed PCM and then hit ok. Choose File|Save Wav, it should save it as a large uncompressed audio file...
