Premiere Audio Problems...

Post by LightningCountX » Mon Dec 22, 2003 2:08 pm

Ok, im working on a new video now, and the song im using has no skips in it. It sounds perfect, but when it's in premiere, it skips and loops and does funky shit I dunno. I haven't changed any project settings. Can anyone tell me whats going on?

What format is it in ? If it's MP3 convert it to an uncompressed WAV file.

If that doesn't fix your problem, then what video source are you using? HuffYUV/AVIsynth can eat up CPU time and cause skipping/popping.

hmmm, the mp3 to wav method seems to work. The program I use though is like a trial verson, so it only lets me do it once. Do you know of any mp3 > wav programs i can download? Thanks for the help

He can just use the disk writer in Winamp to Uncompress it to his hard drive as a wav in about 3 seconds. It works really well. And it means you don't have to go getting all sorts of little transcoders as well.
