Status of "Iron Chef 2003/DDR Project 1& 3" DV

Does anyone know what the current status of the new Iron Chef/DDR Project DVDs? They were supposed to have been sent out last month, but then an update a couple weeks ago on ExpertDV's webpage said they should be done by the first week of December. The site hasn't been updated since. Anyone know what's up?

Hey I had given my email adress to them to be informed and never got anything

Now I realize the orders have started

Well I asked them to add France to the list of countries...

From what I heard from talking to an ExpertDV rep a couple of weeks ago, the release for the DVD was delayed yet again, with the company hoping to get the first batch of DVD's this week. Thus, the DDR Project 1 & 3 DVD will hopefully (and I mean hopefully, since I'm not sure of the current status of the DVD) begin arriving at people's mailboxes next week.

Willow: When I called the company in October concerning whether they got my check or not, I found out that ExpertDV was having some sort of problems when it came to sending e-mails about the start of the pre-orders. That may explain why you haven't gotten an e-mail from them.

the delay is mainly my and brad's fault....

we found a series of errors and problems with the original master and the decision was made to remaster it fixing all the issues... and yes that meant going in frame by frame in some cases and fixing the frames manually (I will give you two guesses who got stuck with that job)

anyway... we finally delivered to expertDV a revised master for DDR3 and DDR1... so he should be finishing up the authoring and senind it off to the replication house

it is a dual layer DVD... so requires more work than normal to author and test... as a bonus... we are also gave export dv the documentary from the first project to include

Has anyone received their copy yet? The ExpertDV webpage was updated 2 weeks ago saying that copies should start being shipped on the 26th...
